Piercing Aftercare

  PIERCING AFTERCARE
Now you have been pierced it’s very important you follow the instructions given below.

Hands are always covered in bacteria; do not touch your new piercing with your hands until you have washed them in antibacterial soap.

All piercings weep until fully healed, this is normal and should not be confused with an infection.

The weeping causes a dry crust which must be soaked off before you commence with your cleaning procedure.

Infections are rare but if you do think you have a problem please consult us immediately at the studio or by phone

(REMEMBER KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF IT)

EYE BROW, NOSTRIL, EAR

This should be applied with a clean cotton bud, and dried thoroughly with a cotton bud afterwards.
Piercing may also be bathed in cooled pre-boiled salt water solution this can help heal the piercing quickly

after the first week you will need to return to us for a shorter bar to be fitted.

Try not to bite the bar or click the back of your teeth with it as this can damage your teeth.
